Saturday, March 21, 2015. Spring Break, Day 6&7. The girls spent Day 6 in their PJs enjoying being home. They built this entire Lego world and only came up for air for lunch and a couple obligatory errands (they did change out of PJs for lunch/errands). Day 7 found us heading to see "Cinderella" and learning to be brave and kind. Then we headed back down to the rodeo via the shuttle bus (always a hit). Someone is our family needs boots! McButter had a small birthday celebration since her real birthday falls on Eastee Sunday and our April weekends got a little crazy. Thursday, March 19, 2015. Spring Break, Day 4. Last day before the drive home. Spent it with some batty friends in a cave. Tons of bats. Some mere centimeters from your head in parts. Also, War Eagle Cave is one that housed Jesse and Frank James. Hiking trails above where we'd just been below. The cave from above seen through a sinkhole. Checking out the "Natural State". Visited a working mill complete with water wheel. Beans and cornbread in the Mill's restaurant- The Bean Palace!

Sunday, March 22, 2015. Spring Break, Day 8&9. Day 8 has no photos but that doesn't mean it wasn't a full day of fun- lunch with friends, bouncing at an indoor trampoline spot (have we mentioned the amount of rain we've had this spring? And then home for a viewing of "The Black Stallion". Day 9 dawned with sun and spring-like temps so we decide on one last hurrah. First, Chocolate croissants for breakfast. Big as yo' head! A great Trader Joe's find. When chores were done we moved on to a dim sum lunch.

And in a surprise twist, Miss F ended up having to step in for an actor that didn't show as another of the orphans. It was a great show! Open House and dress-up karaoke at the girls' theatre school. Sunday, April 27, 2014. Spring Break, Easter, T-Ball. Spring Break trip to the zoo with grandma and grandpa. The 3 new lion cubs. A rainbow over our backyard. Ben (and Eli) before Ben's first t-ball practice. Easter afternoon (Eli trying to pull off a 'nice' smile). The cousin shot. I should try some photoshop magic to get the best of each one. The outdoor Easter Egg Hunt at grandma's. These 2 had so much fun together. This next shot cracks me up! Ben's first t-ball game (in the pouring rain).

Saturday, September 20, 2014. August/ Sept: Eli turns 4(! At the beach, Enchanted Forest, Ben plays more soccer, playing in the leaves! Eli's Birthday at the Beach - Labor Day weekend. The beach ice cream cake from Dairy Queen - Yum! Love this next one. The boys could not get enough of the water. It was so warm I actually would have considered jumping all of the way in. For a moment. We are knee deep in soccer for Ben. He's having a blast and gaining confidence and skills every game! Nice header, Ben!

Wednesday, March 14, 2012. Chad bought me this orchid plant last valentine's day. I managed to keep it alive through the house on the market and our move. It actually bloomed again about 3 weeks ago. It is so beautiful. I just had to share some pictures. That is so cool. I once had an orchid, but it got aphids and totally died. I was bummed. Your thumb is much greener than mine. Wednesday, December 23, 2009. I have been super busy this December. Hard to believe it is Christmas! I successfully hosted the Family Christmas party last Saturday. Couldn't have done it without Mr. Hottie"s help! He attended the function and seamlessly fit in to the family. It was rather nice to watch him interact with everyone! I will be seeing him again on Christmas night to exchange gifts! I am blessed to have so many good things in my life and wish all of you a happy holiday season and a joyous 2010!

Thursday, October 14, 2010. Wish that was something as nice as honemoon love :(. However, I was enjoying the wilderness (ok.just Shawnee national forest) with my mom over the last weekend and somehow contracted poison ivy all over my FACE! Nowhere else really just my face and under my chin. Crazy! I have never had poison ivy before and quite frankly thought i was immune to it! I don't even know how I got this! Is it possible to get it from spider webs? Oh well- im on steroids trying not to scratch!

Insert Something Clever Here. Thursday, October 2, 2014. Leaves are Falling All Around, on the Housetops, on the Ground! After school, the girls were overjoyed to see that one of our trees just dropped all it's leaves AND it was warm enough to play outside. They hurried through their homework and got a good hour of rolling in the leaves. The boys joined them for a while, all of them working together on their leaf pile. With their odd tools, they reminded me of my favorite Pixar short film, 'La Luna'.
