Wedding Cake! | Trading Vows
http://tradingvows.net/cake
I'm Nora, and after five years of dating, my boyfriend, Andy, finally popped the question. Now, we've got eight months to plan the perfect wedding. The only hitch? We want to barter for as much as we can. We'll trade for the dress, the catering, the photography - you name it. Join us as we try to get our dream wedding on a shoestring budget. Muddy River Photography: January 2015
http://muddyriverphotography.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Al Mueller - Photographer. Tuesday, January 20, 2015. Snowy Owl and winter trip to Crex Meadows. An interesting building in a corn field south of Grantsburg. Please click on the images to enlarge them. The sky was overcast when I located a Snowy Owl perched. On a power line pole. A flock of Snow Buntings flew into this corn field for a quick snack. You have to love the dedication of the volunteer fire fighters and emergency. Checking out the fields for prey. I think she was giving me a wink and a smile!

Muddy River Photography: January 2014

Al Mueller - Photographer. Friday, January 24, 2014. Frozen River Film Festival 2014. Ok, this is probably a little spam but I promise not to do this very often and I will keep it short. Mother nature has blessed us with one of the most "winter-like" winters we have had in years. It kind of reminds me of my boyhood days when the winters were really bad! Stay warm my friends. Friday, January 17, 2014. Starting off the New Year 2014. Hi Al I just wanted to let you know, in case you didn't see it in the pap...

Muddy River Photography: Hidden treasure on Garvin Creek
http://muddyriverphotography.blogspot.com/2015/04/hidden-treasure-on-garvin-creek.html
Al Mueller - Photographer. Sunday, April 19, 2015. Hidden treasure on Garvin Creek. I quickly returned to reality and the photographer in me took over. Now I was thinking about how I could best capture this sight to convey the emotion this bizarre scene invoked. The photos I had viewed on Facebook were all nice images and I did not want to post more of the same. Keeping that in mind I used some High Dynamic Range techniques that I hoped would give a different perspective to the scene. Link to my webpage.

Muddy River Photography: April 2014
http://muddyriverphotography.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Al Mueller - Photographer. Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Pelicans at Frontenac, MN. This very cold, snowy and seemingly endless winter has created a void in my ability to find and photograph suitable material for this blog. I guess it could be called "cabin fever" but whatever it is I don't like it. I am really looking forward to spring and all the photo opportunities nature provides. In an instant and be gone forever. If you enjoy the blog, feel free to share the link with all your friends. Leaving the cro...

Muddy River Photography: Early spring at the Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge
http://muddyriverphotography.blogspot.com/2015/04/early-spring-at-trempealeau-national.html
Al Mueller - Photographer. Saturday, April 4, 2015. Early spring at the Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge. On this beautiful but cool Saturday before Easter Sunday, I awoke to a bright and sunny morning. The snow has all melted in this area but now and then the cool nights still get below freezing. It was a perfect morning to head over to the Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge just across the river from Winona to get some practice with my photo equipment before heading up north in a few weeks. Marjo...
