The musings and photos of a somewhat mildly disturbed individual. Thursday 8th March 2012. Today:39 kms Total:435 kms. No, before anyone asks there were no more mozzies than usual. The camp ground was in the middle of a huge 6km re-vegetation project so maybe there were plenty at one stage. I also had the whole place to myself but I’m getting ahead of myself. Headed out of Edithburgh with a tailwind. Woo hoo! Three kms later hit a dirt road with corrugations for the next 20kms. Boo! Where the wind blows.

I’m in Innes National Park with The Ethel wreck, Pondalowie, Shell and Browns to photograph. There will be lots of walking and climbing today. To my knees I say…. good luck. I may have over thought that whole procedure. I’m happy with what I got. At least I got some clouds instead of bright blue skies. Between a rock and a hard place.

Decided to take a detour via Gleesons Point and ride around the coast to Corny point from there. It was a 7km ride into Gleesons from the main road only to find there is no way out except for the way I came. Bloody Google strikes again. Did I mention it was my birthday? Hence….no photos. Spending some time with Clinton, Kate and the kids who came down to Marion Bay for the long weekend. Managed to wake up early for a nice sunrise but other than one walk out at sunset I have left the camera in the bag. Near the rocks of Penguin Point not far from the Marion Bay Caravan Park.
