The world of Myopic Musings, Soliloquies, Random Confusion and Entropy. Dhoom 3: Class midst Crap. The bad parts of the movie – each time you see Abhishek and Uday Chopra on the screens, your misgivings from the first two parts comes screaming back at you. Yet, this is probably the first time (Ravi Shastri style), you just get the feeling that Uday Chopra eclipses Abhishek Bachchan as an actor, a nadir for the latter. The world of Myopic Musings, Soliloquies, Random Confusion and Entropy. Newer posts →. What goes around…. In one of my older posts. I posted on what goes around comes around. Life never fails to give more such situations and this is one of those. Last week, on my morning commute to work, I entered a relatively empty bus. I took a seat by the window and plugged into my iPod. The song from Rockstar, Sadda haq. 8220;You have an exam? 8220;A test”, he mumbled. 8221; I asked. Again, my reverie was broken.

The world of Myopic Musings, Soliloquies, Random Confusion and Entropy. 8216;Hey H, we have a meeting with R in 15 minutes’. I chugged along unwillingly into the meeting room. R seemed extremely happy with himself, more happy than usual, which gave me the hint “Run for your life, run like there’s no tomorrow”, but it was a tad too late. I had been noticed. I took a seat at an angle where R would have strain his neck sufficiently to make him think if it was worth the effort. So, R opened his mouth and beg...

The world of Myopic Musings, Soliloquies, Random Confusion and Entropy. The Ignorance of Idiotic Intelligentsia. Amartya Sen in his book ‘The Argumentative Indian’ gave an insight on how it was inherent for Indians to be argumentative. It was how the Upanisads were an excellent example of evolution of thought through argument. Unfortunately, few Indians today, can claim to have argumentative skills of that level of intellectual thought. N: It’s a clean carpet, so it’s clean water. M: Excuse me, but, our ...

The world of Myopic Musings, Soliloquies, Random Confusion and Entropy. Of Kolaveri, likes and votes…. We live in the world of social networks, mobile media and power in the hands of the consumer. Don’t like something, crib online and if you have enough people sharing similar views it becomes a rage. Like something, go online and rave about it and voila, it becomes a kolaveri. A harmless mobile app, what could it do? Well, it was meant to identify the Man of the Match by a public voting system. Spell was...

The world of Myopic Musings, Soliloquies, Random Confusion and Entropy. 100 X = 1X0! Much like what Swaminathan’s dad thought in R.K.Narayan’s epic comedy, Swami and Friends. One fine morning, dad decided that I had to learn algebra before I got into class VI. Somehow it became a priority task that I master algebra. I wondered what would be left of me. Why algebra, why me? I heard my name being called out. I couldn’t ignore. But somehow my dad either seemed partly deaf or was doing a great job of...Ah, w...

The world of Myopic Musings, Soliloquies, Random Confusion and Entropy. It was the first of several times when I have stayed up, woken up just to watch Sachin play. It feels strange when I think of the fact that in a months’ time, Sachin will not walk out to the middle, looking up at the skies briefly to take strike at number 4. The number 4 slot has been immortalized by the god. Innings century against England that seemed elusive, in that immaculate CV, was checked, we cheered as he scored and we won.
