Sunday, January 31, 2010. Baker Turns 2 - Elmo Party. Baker had his 2nd birthday party on Saturday and since he adores Elmo and asks to watch him a good portion of the day, not that we let him as we do try to limit the amount of teley he watches, we thought it was only appropriate to give him an Elmo party. T. It was a great party, and though there were a couple of moments when Baker seemed overwhelmed, he had a great time too! We also gave these cute Elmo cookies to each kid as they left. Made these and...

We have so many pics to choose from this year for our Christmas card.how will we ever decide? Making a marshmallow snowman at the Whole Foods booth.

Monday, January 31, 2011. A Skype Kind of Birthday. Since Baker's birthday fell on Monday, we had a little Skype party with Nina and Papa. They even had a little cake with candles and Baker opened up gifts from us and them. And of course, we sang all over again and had more cake. It was a fun little night and I think that Baker enjoyed having his birthday celebration spread out over a few days! Blowing out" his virtual candles. Time for more cake and the Happy Birthday song! Cake pops make him happy!

Friday, April 30, 2010. The Friday before we left (we came to TN for a week, Brad drove to Chicago today, and Baker and I fly out next Sat), we decided to go to our very first Washington National's baseball game playing against the Dodgers. It was actually my first pro game ever and Baker's first. What fun we had! Brad and I were both a little unsure of how Baker would do but he totally exceeded our expectations. He really had a good time! Baker loved his hot dog only he wanted it without the bun! We too...

Chicago is divided up into a million neighborhoods and it's very overwhelming to figure out! But Lincoln Square is a really quaint area and their park is fabulous! Baker had a blast playing there. Baker and Dylan playing in the dirt. Baker had been submerged in it earlier and left filthy! She is just as lovely in person! Posted by The Blackmons. As so...

This was the most priceless moment of the trip.seeing him meet Mickey. I've never seen him be so in awe of someone or something before but he was just giddy and couldn't stop smiling. Sunday, March 20, 2011. Disney World Part 1: Downtown Disney and Magic Kingdom. We took a trip to Disney World with Nina and Papa just over a week ago and had the most amazing time! I knew it would be fun but I didn't know it would be that. Fun or that Baker would have such a great time at 3 years old. We were told by so many that 3 is too young but for us, it was perfect. I think Baker enjoyed meeting the characters as much as anything. But the Buzz Lightyear ride was quite the hit too! Nina and Papa ha...
