From Blob to Enduring Love of Velo: April 2012
http://ilovetobikelots.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
From Blob to Enduring Love of Velo. Monday, April 30, 2012. The Path Racer rides; and more grease under the finger nails. Last week I put the finishing touches on the path racer. You know, mere aesthetic details like working brakes, repainted lugs and a head tube badge. A big thanks to Dave and Aaron at Velo Ideale. For fettling my brakes in submission so that they actually work now. She looks right at home in the forest. There is a front wheel, it's just in the shed. Lovely detailed little tab off the g...

Slip: How the garden grows...
http://crochetchristchurch.blogspot.com/2009/07/how-garden-grows.html
Wednesday, July 29, 2009. How the garden grows. Sunday was a gorgeous sunny day, perfect weather for sewing vines onto lamp posts! We commandeered a table in the WinterGarden cafe and while half the team sewed leaves onto vines, the other half created a bird netting lamp post corset for our gorgeous creations to attach to. By mid-afternoon we had two lamp posts blossoming on either side of the Arts Festival pavilion. Photograph courtesy of Simone Quentin de Manson. Photograph courtesy of Mel Blowes.

Shiney new business cards! My new black swan business cards arrived back from print this week. yay! Spot the graphic designer.) It's funny how after designing for clients you're always itching to do something for yourself, but when it comes down to it self-promotional work can be just as much hard work if not more! And it doesn't particularly help being a perfectionist. Also pictured, another one of my new photo brooches that will be debuting at Craft 2.0 in Wellington, April 11th. Labels: Craft 2.0.

Summer roadie Pt III. The pics just keep coming. Grove scenic reserve just out of Takaka on the left, and on the right some more. Coffee overlooking Farewell Spit, and a David Attenborough style macro shot of a nasty looking wasp I spotted while walking back from the spit, which was dragging away it's latest victim. A bit gross, but kind of fascinating at the same time. Summer roadie – Part II. Hawkes Lookout on Takaka hill. A few more old abandoned houses. Nelson and Golden Bay Summer roadie - Part 1.
