ALL PARTICIPANTS HAVE BEEN SELECTED - APPLICATIONS SENT AFTER DEADLINE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Launches with a special opening event for all participants and mentors on April 29th, 2016. The week-long program will run from May 21 - 31, starting with a weekend intensive at TIFF (May 21 and 22). The rest of the program will feature a week of evening workshops, mentorship opportunities, meetings with funders/broadcasts and additional hands-on training. Participants must be available for all scheduled dates.

CHECK OUT THE LAUNCH PHOTOS! 40 Canadian Black Women Filmmakers and media Artists came together on Friday, April 29 for the inaugural launch and opening workshop of the Black Women Film! Leadership Program. 15 participants were selected from 35 applications for this new program supporting the development of emerging Black women filmmakers of all ages. Program runs May 21 - 31.
