Twenty Three members, including some new faces, came along for our first monthly walk. It was relatively short walk led by David Parsons, our own forestry expert and Roger James, from the Gwent Wildlife Trust and was entitled "Trees in Winter" . Next months walk will be a bit longer, around the perimeter of our woodland plus exploring a few nearby paths.

Welcome to the Website of Blaenavon Town Band. 8203;. Blaenavon Town Band is one of the oldest cultural organisations in the town and was established late in the 1890's when it was known as the Blaenavon Town Silver Band. It then became supported by the local colliery, Big Pit and through subscription it was known as the Blaenavon Colliery Workmen's Band until the pit closed in the early 1980's and is now known as the Blaenavon Town Band.
