This was another benefit of walking around your neighborhood, they have these everywhere, and I would recommend it to anyone in DC. But back to the gardens. For example, if your soil needs more organic material, composting. Might be a good way to add some. We don’t compost with worms. We used to look at this tree from our windows, we still do. This is a good start. Either in a bin or with worms). Never use chemicals, herbicides, or pesticides, as those kill everything, mostly things that are useful.
