The Journey Of A Thousand Miles Begins With One Step. News I Can Use. Please use the comment section to…well, leave a comment. Tell me about the weather, what you had for dinner, or maybe something that is actually useful (this isn’t Twitter) :) Seriously, I would appreciate anything you feel would be useful; even if it’s about you eating a salad while watching snow melt–that would be interesting, and disturbing. Thanks in advance! One Response to “News I Can Use”. Said this on June 22, 2011 at 4:41 pm.

The Journey Of A Thousand Miles Begins With One Step. Livin’ The Dream. Just a week ago (Aug 24), Ukraine celebrated 20 years of independence after the break-up of the Soviet Union. And thank goodness. Instead of being surrounded by beautiful women and friendly townsfolk, I could be in the African bush fighting off malaria. Or, I could be in the South Pacific on some tropical island as I imagined Peace Corps service to be, but nevermind that. By Blakely Neff on September 1, 2011. Good for you Blakely!

http://nonsensicalawesomnimity.blogspot.com/2012/11/thanksgiving-american-ukrained-styled.html
Oh The Places You Will Go! My Little Big Push. Monday, November 26, 2012. Thanksgiving: American, Ukrained Styled. Yeah, I suck. I string you along and get your hopes up with a string of posts where I update from memory, only to disappear again without a peep. Sorry about that. I'd say that it won't happen again, but let's be honest: it will. We'll say it is in my blogging nature. Jump to Friday night when I am walking to Josh's house from the bus stop with other PCVs and I get a phone call. Subscribe to...

Oh The Places You Will Go! My Little Big Push. Monday, August 16, 2010. How I knew it. So like I said in my last post, I had a dentist and doctor's appointment today. Working backwards from the day, here is where I am sitting with each:. Thanks to Kylene's post. But alas, I digress. My platlet count was a little high, but she said it will do that with stress, which is most likely the reason. And I freaked out when I say that my Hep B surface antibody test said positive only to learn that my immun...Are y...

Oh The Places You Will Go! My Little Big Push. Wednesday, August 1, 2012. February Fo'sho with a Mashing in of March. I think I am just getting silly with blog titles now, but really, just typing the name of the month is so boring. At the end of the meeting, Iryna invited me, Pete, and Matt to attend Group 43's arrival retreat in March so that they could meet and hear from current PCVs before heading off to their training sites. Oh The Places You Will Go! My Little Big Push. Wednesday, August 1, 2012. Jeez, I just keep on failing at this whole blog thing and creating more work for myself in the world of back-blogging. Meh. Let's continue with this journey, shall we? So a few things happened in January:. Visit to the PCMO (Peace Corps Medical Officer for those of you not in the know). Trip to Lvov (I learned Russian. We don't say "L'viv"! That's a lie, I call it Lviv when I speak the English). It's like the streets of Lviv knew my.

Oh The Places You Will Go! My Little Big Push. Thursday, December 27, 2012. Oh The Places You Will Go! My Little Big Push. Monday, April 18, 2011. It appears I have just been in the habit of putting off writing about my PST experience so far. Life got in the way, so please forgive me. How about a short recap by week using bullet points beginning with leaving Florida? Week One: Staging and Arrival in Ukraine. Oh The Places You Will Go! My Little Big Push. Saturday, May 19, 2012. Living in Eastern Europe is pretty awesome for many reasons. I think one of my favorite reasons, however, is how cheap travelling between countries can be. I have mentioned before that coming to Ukraine was my first time leaving the US. Surprisingly for many people, I have never experienced culture shock since being here. Ferris wheel in Vinnytsia. Our ticket to Hungary! We got into Budapest in the evening, headed to the metro and fou...
