Friday, October 2, 2009. Although it really is a long drive from Phoenix to Cedar, I'm glad I'm still young and stupid enough to attempt it in a weekend. I went home October 18-20 and had a really wonderful time with Mom and Dad. For a chill weekend, it was suprisingly action-packed! The balloons- that was where they'd landed after taking off from the park! So after I got my new 'do, Mom and I made taco salads with garden-fresh tomatoes. Tuesday, July 14, 2009. Thanks everyone for a great 4th of July weekend! It was so nice to be together as a family. I'm so glad we all like each other and will voluntarily travel to be together for holidays and special occasions like this. I really am glad to be part of this particular family. A special shoutout to Mom for getting up early to get us such good seats for the parade! Thanks, Aunt Lois, for arranging paintball for us! I liked it the first time, but now I think I'm hooked. I'd love to.

Hannah was sure happy about the orange ball! She got her attitude and her cute butt from me! I am not super sure about what Nate and I are so happy about? We loaded up all the kids and headed out for a lil' bowling and pool playing at Fat Cats. Of course, I was the highest scoring bowler! He told me to make sure I got the .1 in there!

Monday, August 12, 2013. Geo Trip August 11, 2013. We had a lot of driving. On this trip. Left Salem around 7:30am and returned home after 10pm. The main purpose of the trip was hiking to the top of Sand Mountain. Hols and I attempted to visit it last fall but there was already to much snow on the ground to hike up the last 2mil stretch. The first 129 mile segment. Of the trip was picking up the Geo Blogger Lockwood. And one of Hols past geology students then heading out to Sand Mountain.
