Speaking of practice, I have been feeling Braxton-Hicks contractions lately. They're not painful or even really uncomfortable but kinda weird. Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between Bubs stretching and the contractions. My belly also gets tight if I eat too much or if my bladder is too full. Documenting our journey into parenthood. Tuesday, April 15, 2014. 26 weeks - soooooo tiiiiiiiiired. Baby is the size of a lettuce! Or an eggplant, whichever is cuter! My dad and stepmom came up a couple weeks ago to help with the nursery. I couldn't decide on a dresser in time, so they mostly helped us move furniture out. We did finally get that dresser but the room still seems so empty! Can't wait to fill it with adorable tiny things! This is from 23 weeks. I will be sure to get a 26 week pic soon!

Our Happily Ever After. Monday, May 26, 2014. Party at the Ranch. We went to Pam's kids party at the ranch last night and it was so fun! We had a nice little rain while we were there but it did not stop the kids-I think they had even more fun getting soaked! It cracks me up when goats' do this. Sliding like a big girl. Last week Emerson graduated from preschool. It was bittersweet. She's so ready for Kinder but not sure if I am. I know she will love it and have fun so I need to be ready! Madison got an infection in her eye which caused it to puff up! She's on steroids and antibiotics . Dr said it stemmed from a sinus infection. This was day 2. It's hard to tell but her eye is swollen. It looked bad but not as bad as day 3! She was still all smiles. Reading frozen books before the dr. Hip hop and such.

I was in my college roommates wedding so we went early to explore the city and then head to her small town of Dixon! We had so much fun and I'm glad we got to see the Windy City!
