In our case, my older son, Luke, as only three years old when I was hospitalized with Jacob at 19 weeks gestation. We expected that I would be in the hospital for 15-20 weeks, and I worried that my time away from Luke would somehow hurt him, or change who he was going to be. He was fearless, would this make him timid?
