Danach ging die Fahrt weiter nach Norden über den Captain Cook Highway nach Port Douglas. Ein paar Kilometer vor Port Douglas war der Abzweig zu dem Campingplatz für die nächsten Nächte. Das heutige Tagesprogramm bestand eigentlich nur aus 2 Punkten:. Um 10 Uhr den Camper abgeben. Um 13:10 Uhr den Flieger nach Sydney nehmen. Hat alles problemlos geklappt. In Sydney habe ich ein Hotel in der Nähe des Flughafens und einer Zugstation gebucht. Laquo; Ausflug nach Kuranda. Sydney und zurück. Datum : 18 April 2011. Besucher Gesamt 2.685.

Für heute hatte ich den Klassiker der Tagesausflüge von Cairns gebucht: Fahrt mit der Scenic Railway nach Kuranda. Und zurück mit der Skyrail. An den Barron Falls hielt der Zug für ca. 10 Minuten an und man durfte den Zug verlassen.
