Tea, fabric and other things....: May 2014
http://teafabricandotherthings.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Tea, fabric and other things. Sunday, May 11, 2014. Easter is well and truly over so it is time for a new post. It all started with Lynette Anderson's. Book "Stitch It For Autumn" that we bought last year. Our friend Jo saw the project "Chicken Table Centre" and mentioned several times (if not more) that she really, really liked this pattern, probably because she owns some chickens "with attitude". With Jo's birthday in May, we hatched a plan and started preparing our project. In Gisborne in January.

Essie's Quilts: Quick update...
http://essiesquilts.blogspot.com/2014/04/quick-update.html
Tutorial block with inset triangle. Sunday, 13 April 2014. Today I started applying the textile medium to fix the colours, it was a little scary at first, but luckily it went ok. Vandaag begonnen met het fixeren, het was even spannend maar het gaat gelukkig goed. De bottom half is coloured in with the Inktense pencils and the top half is after applying the textile medium. The colours really pop out and come to life! Have a nice Sunday! 14 April 2014 at 09:31. My name is Riet. 14 April 2014 at 11:13.

http://teafabricandotherthings.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Tea, fabric and other things. Friday, January 16, 2015. I don't finish too much so I have decided to set myself smaller goals. This year I will call my small achievements Mini Milestones. With luck, some of these Mini Milestones will grow into Major Milestones. So, the New Year must start with a new project. Not necessarily a large one, just a new one. Before Christmas, I found a tutorial for machine sewn binding here. I was keen to give this technique a try on a new pair of pot holders. I already have o...
