Sunday, December 21, 2014. The first weekend in October, my dad and sister came out to visit, and so did Thomas' dad (with some youth from their ward), for General Conference. On the Saturday of General Conference, I experienced the worst "morning sickness" of my entire pregnancy. We stayed home and kept the whole day pretty low-key. Monday, March 2, 2015. January was my first month as a full-time homemaker! We are both excited about this and that our situation allows for me to be home (a) now to prepare for the baby and (b) as a stay-at-home mom when the baby is born. I've spent my days working on various projects - mostly things I've been wanting to get to before the baby is born. I finished scanning a box of old letters and other documents that belonged to my great-grandmother (a project I started about 3 years ago.

Monday, January 26, 2015. During November, I started to have some pretty debilitating hip/pelvic pain. Blessedly, our home teacher is in the physical therapy field and recommended a physical therapist he knows. He diagnosed a rotated pelvis (something like this. After 4 1/2 years of marriage. 2 years of infertility. A cabinet full of prescriptions. Running program - twice. Lots of blood and lab work. Even more tears and frustration. September 7, 2012. I spent most of Labor Day weekend with my best friend Kelley in southern Colorado. The rest of our time was spent here and there- a little in Utah, a little in New Mexico, and a little in Arizona at the Four Corners Monument. The monument is in Navajo Nation territory and marks the only place in the US where four states share a quadripoint. It's pretty fun to stand on a spot and be in four different states at once. Around the center are the four seals of each state. Why did they accept?

May 20, 2012. My 2nd 30th Birthday. I spent months deliberating over these swatches. alone in my room staring at the walls. I finally selected "Serene Plum Grey" and went to Walmart to buy it and left with a gallon of "Dew of Silverberry" instead- I fell in love with it on the spot. Thus the fun begins! Friday, the day before my second 30th birthday, my new fabulous friend Crystal and her husband Eric came to spend the night and to help me PAINT! Thursday, July 3, 2014. So as I said in my last post, me and Isaac stopped off at Best Friends Adoption Center. I asked the lady there about her and found out her adoption fee was only $5. When I showed her to Isaac he told me "NO". My response was "I have birthday money in my pocket". She is the best birthday present I ever got myself. Her name in the adoption center was Kathrine but because that is my sister's name I renamed her Eve because I adopted her a few days before Halloween AKA All Hallows Eve.
