Piecing, Patching: February 2013
http://piecingpatching.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 28, 2013. I made them all from Rustic. Wool from Bendigo Woollen Mills. Which is nice and thick and warm and quick to knit. It probably isn't the best thing giving pure thick woollen garments to homeless men, as I imagine if they got wet or they needed to wash them, they would take a while to dry. But at least they will be warm. Monday, February 18, 2013. Sunday, February 10, 2013. This is just about the last completed sewing project I achieved, way back in December. I made two of ...

Piecing, Patching: October 2012
http://piecingpatching.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 28, 2012. Well, it is nearly November. So I'm having to get my act together and start to do some Christmas crafting. I have barely touched a needle and thread for the last month or so, so it has been great fun to get back into some creative activities and I was thrilled to finish this project today. (My house is just a sad trail of started projects .). The above "kissing ball" is a Buttonberry pattern from. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Antique Pattern Library (Vintage crochet etc! Quilted ...

Piecing, Patching: October 2014
http://piecingpatching.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 20, 2014. I just haven't been in the mood for any quilting lately but have finished a few crochet projects. I made this blanket a few weeks ago. I just love it. It's bright and cheerful and is the biggest project I have attempted in a long time, although it is just simple granny squares. This one was made from 100% wool from Bendigo Woollen Mills. I can't wait to stock up on wool and make another one. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Antique Pattern Library (Vintage crochet etc! Bobby Socks Qu...

Piecing, Patching: Midweek Quickie Cheat
http://piecingpatching.blogspot.com/2014/03/midweek-quickie-cheat.html
Wednesday, March 5, 2014. It's a cheat because I really didn't do any crafting this week! I have lots of boring and predictable excuses, but why bother? So today I'm blogging about some older small projects, made over the last year or so. First up, a crochet covered jar which I originally planned to use as a vase but have found it kind of useful for storing knitting needles. This was just a made-up-as-I-went thing so no pattern. Helen's Hugs: Calendar girls
http://helenstubbings.blogspot.com/2008/06/calendar-girls.html
Tuesday, 24 June 2008. Having a little cleanup here and have come across two spare half used calendars. It was so exciting when these arrived in the mail seeing us as Miss December's -we had no idea they were coming or that our quilt was even going to be in it. Grandmas got one, dear quilting friends got one - but one can only have so many calendars and I hate to see them go to waste. Posted by Helen Stubbings. Tuesday, June 24, 2008. Wow, what a quilt you have featured! The detail in this looks amazing.

http://helenstubbings.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 9 July 2008. The time has come to say farewell to my trusted friend Blogspot. Yes I have finally had the time to move myself over to. It gives me many more tools and options and the opportunity to offer more in the future. Don't worry though, everything has been copied over and is all there in the archived posts. I am still working on it and have much more to do yet but I think its ready enough to move now. Posted by Helen Stubbings. Wednesday, July 09, 2008. Monday, 7 July 2008. This one is a...
