Oklarama: Water the Trees!
http://oklarama.blogspot.com/2005/08/water-trees.html
Information and commentary from an unabashed Oklahoma partisan. Thursday, August 11, 2005. One thing that just boggles my mind is how local and state government and various civic organizations can spend hundreds of dollars to plant trees, and then let them die for lack of water. Does this make any sense at all? Posted by OKPartisan at 5:46 AM. Okay Anybody have any idea how to get rid of comment spam? Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. View my complete profile. Oklarama: A Rough Winter?
http://oklarama.blogspot.com/2005/09/rough-winter.html
Information and commentary from an unabashed Oklahoma partisan. Thursday, September 15, 2005. I noticed that the squirrels have been extra busy this year. My driveway is, as usual this time of year, littered with pecans. The big difference I have noticed this time is that all of them have been chewed by those cute little rats with fluffy tails. The squirrels are packing it in. My mother reports similar observations with her Norman-based squirrels. Do they know something we don't? Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Oklarama: Do We Claim These Guys?
http://oklarama.blogspot.com/2005/09/do-we-claim-these-guys.html
Information and commentary from an unabashed Oklahoma partisan. Friday, September 09, 2005. Do We Claim These Guys? The Los Angeles Times is among many news organizations talking about the unqualified resumes of the leaders of FEMA, and unfortunately, about their Oklahoma ties. Both Allbaugh and Brown were Oklahoma natives involved in that state's Republican politics. FEMA's acting deputy chief of staff, Brooks Altshuler, also hails from Oklahoma.". Information and commentary from an unabashed Oklahoma partisan. Wednesday, May 18, 2005. Here's my snooty comment about the snootier-than-thou element that attends Oklahoma Philharmonic concerts. Most people in the crowd are just fine. Some people still get the rules wrong and applaud between movements, which is just a touch embarrassing. Don't they know that there is often great beauty in the silence? That the silence brings something magical, like a collective holding of breath? Wednesday, May 11, 2005.

Oklarama: Comment Spam

Information and commentary from an unabashed Oklahoma partisan. Tuesday, August 30, 2005. I have been really, really, really bad about posting anything on this site. I dropped by to see if anyone had visited and found the comment spam on my post about the trees. Hm. I guess the contagion was bound to spread to blogs. Any idea how to get rid of it? Oklarama: Redo the Commercials
http://oklarama.blogspot.com/2005/06/redo-commercials.html
Information and commentary from an unabashed Oklahoma partisan. Sunday, June 19, 2005. Wow It's been so long since I posted that I temporarily forgot my blogger name and password. I've got a baby on the way (with resultant morning/afternoon/evening sickness) and a new puppy in the house, and those things plus work have left very few brain cells functioning for blogging. One comment: I really can't stand the moviefone.com. Another curmudgeonly comment: What's with the lousy Sonic. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
