Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Happy B-Day, KT! Katie and I are home from an impromptu Tennessee trip to visit my aunt and uncle. My uncle Dale had a series of strokes recently and is now home and recovering quicker than we had even hoped. God is good! We went out to help my aunt get the house ready for him to come home. We had a nice visit, but it is always good to be home! Incredibly, I took a teenager with me and brought home a 20 year old! Happy Birthday to my sweet Katie! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Monday, March 28, 2011. Bisquick makes amazingly simple and delicious shortcake! Sorry for the bad pics. I ate half of it before I decided to blog about it! A whole piece would have made a much better photo shoot! And if you have the box of Bisquick you probably have everything else on hand as well! But don't be like me and make it 4 times in less than 2 weeks! So thats what you have been talking about! I have had that actually! A friend made that for me yrs ago when Zach was a baby. Yummy!

Monday, November 29, 2010. Look who came strolling by the yard the day after Thanksgiving. We've seen them before, but there were a lot more this time. Kevin counted 22 of them! The above pictures were mostly taken right after we got her. And then her adult teeth grew in.see the underbite? The following pic was taken yesterday. Paisley and Trixie have become good friends! Monday, May 17, 2010. The Graduation Trip (long post.). I have not TRULY updated my blog for so long! I guess working full time and blogging just don't go together for me. Saturday, July 24, 2010. It is 10:00 in the morning on Saturday, July 24th and I am sitting in our hotel room in Oklahoma City waiting on my water to boil for a chai. I haven't blogged in ages, but maybe it's time! It is therapuetic after all! We made it through the retirement (bittersweet) and Brian's wedding (BEAUTIFUL) and we found our dream home (LOG CABIN! Here in Oklahoma. Kevin has even started his new job. And now we wait. We are waiting for the grandbaby to decide it's time for his birthday.

Wednesday, March 23, 2011. Our neighbors own chickens. And I mean all kinds of chickens! Every now and then she gives us eggs. They are so much better than the store bought eggs. Look at all of the different colors and sizes. I'll have to see if I can get some pictures of the chickens one of these days. They are fun to watch too! Labels: At the Cabin. How has your mom been?
