Diary of a paralympian. October 14, 2011 · 1:12 am. Hi everyone. Provincials went well for me. I got second place. I had to play everyone twice. Not a lot of people in my division. I felt a bit worried at first because I haven’t played for a whole year. Now I know what people mean when they say ‘it’s like riding a bike’. My sister was my boccia assistant. She was great. We were 11th before going into World Cup, so we have managed to move up 1 spot :-) You have to be in the top 12 to qualify for the Paralympics.
