December 20, 2016 · 6:52 pm. My foot slips off a rock and my right hand loses its grip. I slide down the face of this mountain, but it’s only a small set back. This has happen many times on this climb. This time a jagged rock tares through my thick yellow jacket and rips a hole in my right wrist. Blood starts leaking from my wrist, but I press on. I recompose myself and continue the climb. I take a huge breath and a sigh of relief exits my lungs. I have made it. How does it feel to be on top of that peak?
