August 2, 2015. August 2, 2015. 8220;Take the last bus to Futsal”. Yet another top notch day here in Rio. Our last Futsal matches of the trip saw us on the courts of Boqueirão Do Passeio. Even though this court was a bit more old school; not so shiney and new, the vibe was one of my most favorite…gritty and raw. July 26, 2015. Utopia: community or society possessing highly desirable or near perfect qualities. We went there today…Utopia. The boys had an early wake up call this morning, still dark. Breakfast at six am, on the bus by six fifteen, for our trip to Cruzeiro Esporte Clube. Task at hand- play four games against some pretty heavy competition. July 28, 2015. We 5 a side! Today belonged to Futsal. Nine games in total. Our boys played two a piece for a group total of six. A splendid round robin tournament was organized by Gol Brazil with local clubs from Belo between the hours of 10am- 5:45pm. I never realized one could be so exhausted from sitting around on concrete bleachers watching Futsal all day! Can’t imagine the players exhaustion! We will see what tomorrow brings. Each group will play the same squads again, to round out the tournament.
