It's that time of year in South Louisiana. okay, it's actually a good bit early this year. but still, the Abita Strawberry is out, and flying off the shelves. Needless to say, the majority of people down here love this stuff. The release each. What the result is, in my opinion, is the perfect beer compliment to a batch of spicy crawfish. Tuesday, December 16, 2014. Review: Abita Wrought Iron IPA. Alright, time for a beer review, just me this time, so this isn't our Feature Beer, but Abita Brewing. Although I wasn't as impressed with the Imperator Black IPA. I thought it needed more hops, but I did think that the Spring IPA and Grapefruit Harvest IPA were steps in the right direction, so. Thursday, July 5, 2012. Fat Cow and Happy 4th! Yes, the vegetarian family went to Fat Cow. And, we love it! Any of the burgers can be served with a salmon fillet or a giant portobello mushroom. I'm currently head over heels in love with the Napa Burger, which stars sliced pear, red onion marmalade, goat cheese and fresh arugula. Sans the bacon, of course!
