Henry Homestead: March 2013
http://henryhomestead.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
A place to share life's joys and sorrows even from miles away. Monday, March 11, 2013. Spring is drawing near (I think.). So next week is technically the first week of spring according to the calendar hanging on the side of my refrigerator. The threat of a big snowfall last week scared us just enough to doubt spring's arrival. Luckily, it missed us and left it's mark on our dear family in New England! But here, South of the Mason-Dixon Line, this weekend saw sunshine and 60 degrees, so again I am hopeful.

Henry Homestead: August 2012

A place to share life's joys and sorrows even from miles away. Sunday, August 5, 2012. Sunshine, Happiness, and Ice-cream! What an amazing find last Sunday! We were out for an afternoon drive, and decided to head to Rocky Point Creamery off Tuscarora Road. When we arrived, we were greeted by this incredible field of sunflowers. It took my breadth away. There was an instant happiness that came across me. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Subscribe To Henry Homestead and Keep in Touch Easily.

Henry Homestead: Remembering 9-11
http://henryhomestead.blogspot.com/2014/09/remembering-9-11.html
A place to share life's joys and sorrows even from miles away. Thursday, September 11, 2014. Today, my 7 year old daughter went to a flag raising ceremony for an event that she knew nothing about. She wasn't alive the day the twin towers crashed into the core of America's heart. She doesn't remember the fear that gripped the nation nor the tears that we shed for weeks. She doesn't feel the ache that still lingers after so many, many years. In remembrance. by Donna Gallagher. The wind is restless today.

Henry Homestead: June 2013
http://henryhomestead.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
A place to share life's joys and sorrows even from miles away. Sunday, June 30, 2013. My dear friend, Holly, was in town this past week visiting from Long Island, NY. She came last weekend to see the new house and it was a loud, crazy afternoon as her four children and my two children ransacked the house and raised the roof with all the yelling. (Sorry Josh and Papa Dan! Love her for doing that! We started our morning with a visit to the local farmer's market! Notice the matching dresses that Aunt Holly ...

Henry Homestead: October 2013
http://henryhomestead.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
A place to share life's joys and sorrows even from miles away. Wednesday, October 2, 2013. Since last October Nathan has been asking almost weekly when we will be able to back to the pumpkin patch. And Kate has been eager to get to an apple orchard for an afternoon of picking. This weekend we made both the kids happy, and we had a lot of quality family time in the process. On Sunday we met my parents at Brookfield Farm. The hay ride is one of Nathan's favorite parts of the pumpkin patch! They also have a...
