Monday, February 09, 2009. Work in Progress - oil painting. I'm back to teaching myself how to paint . it feels like i'm fumbling in the darkness trying to work out how to make things look the way i wish they would look. It is all very frustrating. I had a disaster with apples few weeks ago and abandoned it. i dunno. i lose interest so easily but have this desire to work through the difficult issues. I will paint a million gum trees if i have to and grass. why is grass so difficult to do. Wowthis is so s...

Buy Don Iannone’s Books. Monthly Archives: November 2014. On an early november day in the woodland forest. November 2, 2014. I love how the sun so matter of factly screams through the woodland forest,. Setting the leaves on fire with gold and yellow hues and tones, and. How tree shadows are painted on the narrow leaf-covered path, carrying. Us up the hill and into the pure white sunlight. And just beyond lies the bubbling creek, preparing itself for winter,. The Path: This Old House
http://strider333.blogspot.com/2009/06/this-old-house.html
A stroll down the path of life. Sunday, June 28, 2009. It rests upon a gentle crest,. With stately elms embracing its breast. Rising high above they spread their wings,. Beholding in the dwelling the loved souls that sing. At dawn they rise for the coming day’s toil,. Turning the earth and cultivating the soil. The bountiful orchards set ablaze,. Attracts them there for a pause on the warm spring day. Their flowers rise in glory, what a beautiful sight,. Releasing their essence, the great breath of light.

Buy Don Iannone’s Books. Author Archives: Don Iannone. Remembering Childhood Memorial Days. May 30, 2016. I remember as a young boy loving Memorial Day. Because of the small parade in our town Martins Ferry. Honoring those who died serving our country, and. The family picnic when family members usually at war with each other came together, and. How the holiday symbolized school would soon be out for the summer, and. How the sun lingered and dallied much longer. May 27, 2016. We are all walking mirrors.

Chronicles of Me: shell shocked ~ {updated}
http://bohemiangirldesigns.blogspot.com/2008/12/shell-shocked.html
Tuesday, December 30. Shell shocked boho, self portrait. I was going through my plethora of photos from Christmas and when I stumbled upon this one, I laughed out loud. The concept of laughing out loud when you're alone has always been curious to me.because it must be REALLY funny or trigger something deep for you to laugh when no one can share it with you. But the night before this photo above was taken, another thing happened that shook me back into a space that I thought had left me five weeks ago bef...

Slashing its tawny leathered wrists. Spilling red sunset all about. At my side all night long. She beckons, begs, congeals a new reality–. One where purpose finally follows breath. And grandiose dreams fall aslumber–. Quieted by the watchful monks. On the flowered hillside. Making us forget long enough to remember.
