http://quiltedscottie.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
RAMBLINGS FROM A QUILTER OWNED BY SCOTTIES. Monday, October 10, 2011. This past weekend was my 50th (ugh) high school reunion in Massachusetts. My husband and I traveled up to MA on Friday, had a great dinner with friends that night at Chili's and then it was off to the classmates. Only party for me and. Back to the motel for hubby. My girlfriend's husband also kept hubby company and they watched the baseball game on TV and had a nice visit. How much fun the classmates had! Take care and keep smiling -.

Quilted Scottie: I'mmm Back
http://quiltedscottie.blogspot.com/2012/07/immm-back.html
RAMBLINGS FROM A QUILTER OWNED BY SCOTTIES. Sunday, July 29, 2012. My friend, Fran, told me I needed to update my blog since I had a "snow" picture on my last post - YIKES! Time just gets away from me while I'm living a hectic life. Between my hubby, work, band, the garden, quilting, Civil War interests, etc., etc., I just don't know where the time goes. It's been so hot here that the "snow" picture is a welcome relief. I need lots more practice, I think! Welcome back Miss Judie! July 29, 2012 at 1:00 PM.

http://jillinspired.blogspot.com/2011/05/sew-away-your-anxiety.html
Sew Inspired . Sonnets. Saturday, May 28, 2011. Sew Away Your Anxiety. As we have met many fighting cancer (and especially a large number wrangling with breast cancer), I am always in awe at how they pull together their emotional resources to find a way to bring healing in some part of their life. So many have told me that they sew to reduce their anxiety and that when they are not well enough, the inability to sew brings great sadness to them. As I was machine quilting the pieces to be taken to Internat...

Monday, February 28, 2011. K and K in the Kitchen. I'd like to introduce you to our two fermented sisters. On the left is Kombucha and on the right is Kefir. They both promise us to live happily every after if taken everyday.which we do cheerfully. We turn our kefir into morning fruit and/or green smoothies and we drink small glasses of the kombucha throughout the day. Kefir is a fermented milk product.very similar to yogurt. You know how yogurt is good for you? Our long life blend:. Couple of ice cubes.

Saturday, October 15, 2011. My own "Runaround Bag". I'm in love with the web-site, "Pintrest. Warning: It can be adictive! Yesterday I found a really cute purse idea and decided to buy the pattern from Anna Graham at Noodlehead. Then this morning I went to work using some super cute fabric I bought from Fabric.com. I was going to make some PJ pants out of it until I found out it was heavy curtain fabric instead of quilting fabric. Oh well.It made a super cute one of a kind purse. Chirp, Chirp,. And I mad...

Monday, July 25, 2011. Well, I was able to start on my Aunt Luanne's quilt this last weekend. We had a quilting get-together in Ferndale on Friday and Saturday. Had a great time and was able to get going on the quilt. Here's what I did:. First, cut 8 - 10 inch squares from each of the 5 colors of maroon she picked. Next cut 40- 10 inch squares of the gray background fabric. Then, you have to draw a diagonal line on the wrong side of all 40 squares. Next, sew a 1/4" on each side of the drawn line. Anyway,...
