Friday, October 10, 2014. El Camino de Santiago. Even though it was in the back of my mind all year long to walk the Camino, I only decided to do it at the last minute. It seemed fitting to transition from almost 9 months of adventure to "going home" by walking the pilgrim's path taken by millions before me. It was one of the highlights of the year! I could post a hundred beautiful pictures of the walk as each day was glorious. Here are a few. The End of the World! Madrid, Toledo, Aranjuez and Segovia.

Sunday, April 27, 2014. We arrived into Machu Picchu town (also known as Aquas Calientes). It's not a pretty town as it's main purpose is to serve the tourists going to Machu Picchu. Still, the setting was magnificent in a steep valley and a train track that runs right through the town. We got up at 5.00 am to go to Machu Pucchu. Tuesday, July 22, 2014. I went to visit my brother and his family in Toronto for the week. My brother and I took a trip to Niagra Falls for some "bro-time". Here they are that evening enjoying appetizers with Kelly. The next day we went up to Elk Lake with Cindy, Spenser, Delaney, Ashley and visiting Antarctic friend Paul Bernasconi, his wife Michelle and their three daughters Katherine, Anna and Sarah. The Bernasconi's have been exploring the country in their RV since leaving their New York home in late June.

Sunday, December 21, 2014. Kelly's trip to the Dry Valleys, AQ. On December 19th Kelly flew from McMurdo Station to the Canada Glacier in the protected area of the Dry Valleys. This was a full day trip to escort Scientist Alex Mass who is based at Lake Hoare. She studies toxicology in water from Glaciers, so the mission was to gather water samples for the day. Sunday, March 1, 2015. Antarctic Summer Season's End. Shortly after the New Year is when we start seeing ships enter the McMurdo Sound area. The first to arrive is always the US Coast Guard to cut a channel in to the sea ice. This year that Ship was the Polar Sea, which is shown in the photo below. It's always a great time to hear good music performed by our local musicians as well as a fun time to hangout with friends. Here's Kelly with Kerre and Craig. Kara with her medicinal Antarctic flask. Sunday, April 6, 2014. Our 4th Annual Trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. We flew back to PV on March 14 for our annual beach vacation. Norman flew down the same day we did and we met him at the airport when we landed. Here are Norman and Kelly enjoying the sun at Ritmo's. June 18th we went to the Fermentation Celebration in the Old Mill District. Kelly's getting a sample from the Silver Moon Brewery booth. Here we are with Jason enjoying a few tastings.
