On Friday afternoon the girls and I went apricot picking at our old house around the corner. Brendan's family owns it, so we still reap the benefits of all the fruit trees there. They were just right for picking, and so many! I only picked one basket full, but there are a lot more ready to be picked. I might dehydrate some or make some jam, but I'm not sure if I'm up to it. Brendan found a deal for horseback riding just 20 minutes away from Park City in Oakley, UT. It was really pretty up there, and we had a great time together. I highly recommend it as a Fall date! The day after Christmas we went up to the family cabin and stayed for two nights. Brendan's parents came and also two of Brendan's cousins with their spouses and kids. It snowed the whole time we were there, which made it a lot of fun for sledding and snowmobiling. We played in the snow and watched movies and warmed up by the fire. It was a pretty relaxing stay. Hazel and Dad having a blast! Hattie went down with Jesse and loved it, but she got cold pretty fast and went back inside. Updates on the kiddos.

Amanda putting together the book shelf. My job was to hand Amanda screws, that's the most helpful thing I could do =) lol. The girls working on the crib, Sophie wanted to help. =). Amanda working on the drawer that slides under the crib. Sophie is so adorable! The crib sits super low, I love that I can easily reach into it.

Yesterday we took a high speed train called el Ave (the bird) to Madrid. It goes up to 300km per hour! When we got here we met up with our friend Jaime.
