Woodtype letters, B and K. Woodtype letters, B and K. One way of making sense of the things around me is to set out to find beauty or purpose in everyday objects, like the aforementioned pen. In my hands, these two woodtype letters fall into this second category of objects. A printer might be able to put them to use, but they arrived in my possession as a gift from Justine Nagan. Pilot G-Tec C4 Pen. Pilot G-Tec C4 Pen. The Pilot G-Tec C4 is an ideal place to start this collection, for several reasons. Practically speaking, it is immediately at hand – I keep several at my desk (both at the office and at home) – so photographing it is easy enough. Apparently I'm not alone on this, because the G-Tec series is one of the most popular items available at specialty pen retailer Jetpens.com. So imagine my thrill when I discovered that my local stationery store, Reid's, carries the pen.
