The fishing has been great, wind has been excellent for Kite boarding and all the great people down here equal one healthy equation for happiness. The water in the lagoon is very dirty brown, hence its name Chocolate lagoon. Its cutoff from the ocean, it only fills up during a really high tide combined with an el norte, (north wind). Sunday, November 7, 2010. Last post from the US. So over the last two days my friend Javier Dale and I have driven from the Oregon border to the border of Baja Mexico! Tomorrow morning we will be heading across the border and finding our first camping spot! Were hoping to make it to "The Wall" which is just about an hour north of Guerrero Negro. We didn't run into any trouble getting this far, our spirits are high and were preparing for the next great adventure. I may even get a good Spear diving video!
