I had every intention of posting this before Christmas when I sent out a few Christmas cards. That obviously didn't happen but better late than never! I can't believe 2011 is almost over and that means we have to remember to write 2012 on everything in just a few short weeks. 2011 was such a great year and I have a feeling 2012 is going to be even better. Here are some highlights from 2011 for the Aravena family. To celebrate graduating, I decided to turn 23 a few days later. Cisco turned 27 in July!

Monday, July 4, 2011. Grand Parade and Breakfast. The kids had fun waving to everyone in the parade and eating candy. Derek loved the guys on the stunt bikes and of course the BYU players that gave him cool cards. Addy loved waving to the princesses and danced around anytime music came on:) After the parade we went to Mimi's Cafe for breakfast and it was delicious.I love eating breakfast out! Happy 4th of July! Mikayla and Katelyn chillin in their chairs:). Whitney enjoying some snacks. Time for a nap:).

Thursday, September 18, 2008. I had my 20 week ultrasound today and everything looks great with the baby:) And, YES it is still a girl LOL! We got some really cute pictures so I posted some of them:). Here are her cute little fingers:). Her little hands right up by her face. She's giving us a thumbs up that she's a GIRL! Thursday, December 23, 2010. The kids had their friend Kenedee over to play for the day and they decided to build a snowman together. They did a great job! Friday, August 17, 2012. A day at Trafalga. I headed up to Trafalga with the kids for a day of fun before school starts for all of us again, they had a great time and I got a few fun pictures of them. A great hair day. Don't you love those mornings when you wake up and your hair looks perfect and ready for the day? I do It doesn't happen often but it happened a few days ago. I am posting the picture. And I don't care that I don't have an ounce of makeup on and I still have morning bags under my eyes. It was just too awesome to keep to myself. Seriously. Awesome. You too can achieve this look by following these simple steps. Step 1: Take a hot shower and do not wash hair. Step 2: Partially blow dry hair.

In other news: I have been working a lot and reading a LOT. Cisco has been working his butt off in School and I am so impressed with him. Mac has not been getting out as much as he should and I fear he is getting lazy. Poor dog. I don't have much to blog about though. It is so overwhelming and there are are so many! I need to start making some major charts and documents comparing schools. Hopefully I will come up with something good to blog about soon. Hope you all are having a great 2012. Vina del Mar C...
