Wednesday, August 29, 2012. Double Blessings have arrived. Today Wednesday Aug. 29th, 2012 our baby became a father, and was blessed with two beautiful twin girls. Zoe Lenore DeRoest (A) weighed 4 lbs. 7 oz., 17" tall, made her appearance at 5:30pm. Ginnivive Marie DeRoest (B). Weighed 4 lbs. 9 oz., 17" tall, and made her appearance at 5:32 pm. Both Rodney and Lauren couldn't be any happier to have so many blessings enter into their lives. As you can see all are doing wonderful. Our joy is overflowing.

I had just gotten out when I got a phone call from my mom. She had just been in an accident and she was a pretty frantic. Saturday, February 26, 2011. A couple of pictures of the combined choirs practicing in the morning. In the second picture, you can sort of see me. Dr. Schauer looks like she is squeezing my head between her hands. Haha! These pictures were sent to me in an email. It is a fun reminder of the day. And the spirit was so strong! Tuesday, September 27, 2011. We went to Disney World! Mr Potato Head talked to the people in the queue, sang songs, and posed for pictures. It was really funny to watch. I love all the detail of the toys, like this Lincoln Log house, the Scrabble board roof, the tinker toys, the Lego supports for the room, the monkeys, etc. So much fun! I found my gate, and sat down near the terminal. A few minutes later, a man sat next to me. I didn't want to stare, so I took a couple of sly pictures with my phone and studied those pictures to make sure the person I thought it was really was sitting next to me. Now the rest of the story.
