Life as an amateur Geocache/r. June 21, 2013. Hello from stormy Alberta. where the thunder storms keep rolling and the waters keep rising…. Boy did we pick the wrong week to travel here. thunder storms, tornado warnings, flooding… here is hoping that everything calms down some so we can actually make it home on time. Its amazing the amount of time one has to do things while on holidays compared to normal everyday life. 3 days of working and i’m bushed lol. though i was able to get started on my B&B. got the inside protected with truck box liner. i know no water will seep in now from the bottom. the only way things get wet in it now is if someone lets the rain in 🙂. And it was great. the one thing we noticed was lack of geocaches around at least the outskirts of the park. i could understand park officials not wanting one inside but there are many beautiful areas around that something could have been placed. Life as an amateur Geocache/r. June 27, 2013. Started work on our B&B tonight. masked off the parts i’m not spraying with box liner. I’ve decided to spray the inside of my ammo box with box liner to help protect from water. i know the ammo case is built for that but its also older and has some surface rust. so with this extra step i’m insuring that it will keep the moisture on the outside and the TB’s dry on the inside. And i’m a bit reassured when i look at the profile of each moving them. the fact that each geocacher has more then 1k finds and has each handled a couple hundred TB’s. Thursday, December 18, 2008. What a fun season it has been! Cailyn had two concerts! She did a great job, and we have all learned some new songs this year. We really enjoyed her Santa Claus rock. Caleb got to be the grinch for a reader's theatre at school! He made a mighty grouchy grinch in "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas! Courtney has been busy with basketball and is gearing up for ice skating. It has snowed lots here, so we are all excited to hit the slopes at Kelly Canyon this weekend!
