Every building incorporated the onion dome in it one way or another. Saint Basil's Cathedral is a showcase of medieval Russian architecture. Saint Sophia Cathedral in Novgorod Russia. This tent-like church is in Ostrov near Moscow. Patriarch Nikon's residence, the New Jerusalem Cloister. One of Naryshkin churches in Moscow. Intercession Church at Vytegra.

Create a sphere with 2 pinch pots then carve, apply decoration, or manipulate it in a way that it represents at least 3 of your personal traits. Create a pinch large pinch pot. Start by pinching the foundation and grow it by pinching daubs of clay to the upper edge of your pot until it has grown at lest eight inches in height. A coil sculptural form that Dr. Seuss would be proud of. A Fremont Indian inspiered coil pot. A soft slab pot.

Pottery and Art by Blaine Atwood. Drawings Paintings and Prints. Thursday, August 13, 2015. Faces of Utah Sculpture 2015. These unglazed vessels are made of several different connected pieces. The main body, of the piece, is constructed of 3-4 sections and connected together with an industrial strength epoxy so it can rest on an angle. Pottery and Art by Blaine Atwood. Drawings Paintings and Prints. Wednesday, April 17, 2013. Four More Finial Vessels With A Twist. These four vessel pots are made of 5 to 6 stacked up sections. They range from about 1 foot tall to 2.5 feet tall. The new part is how they were cut open. Instead of precise cuts with a sharp knife, these were cut wile spinning on the potters wheel.
