My Adventures in Peru: June 2008
http://laurakristin.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 8, 2008. I arrived safely back home and the first thing my family and I did after leaving the airport was head to Taco Bell. I don't know what it is about the place, because Taco Bell is not exactly the best representation of fine Mexican food, but whatever the case, those burritos tasted simply amazing! Nothing like craving mexican. Beans are completely different from those beans down in Peru, whatever they're called. A peace came over me and I was able to care for him with patience and lov...

After we are all set up we hand out tickets. Tickets 1-80 usually sometimes. The hearts of these Peruvian people. The mornings were crazy! Little Cindy who had terrible f...

My Peruvian Adventure: Invasion of the Ants
http://kristingoodin.blogspot.com/2008/04/invasion-of-ants.html
Wednesday, April 2, 2008. Invasion of the Ants. For the past so many months our house at 38 has been plagued with ants! The next ant attack was from the big, huge, monsterous black ants. They were crawling all over my laundry. So I went and put my laundry in a bucket of water hoping to drown the ants. Did you know some ants swim? I´m not sure how the ant business is going right now. Emily and I are living in a nice house in Yarina with the pastor and his wife. We are beginning our last publi...Hello This...

My Peruvian Adventure: Hector Daniel
http://kristingoodin.blogspot.com/2008/03/hector-daniel.html
Monday, March 3, 2008. The first time I saw Hector was at church. He was a really sick looking baby. He was ashen gray and did not move much at all. He also smelled of vomit and urine. Anita had informed Jenni of this baby and they went out to visit it the following Sunday. Jenni came back later saying the baby was really malnurished. We are not sure how many days this precious child has left. We are all very saddened by this news. It is really sick how sin has plagued this world. Even the mo...I ask all...

My Adventures in Peru: April 2008
http://laurakristin.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 24, 2008. Less than a week! The 3rd week of March we held a clinic in Nueva Era, a Shipibo community just out of Yarinacocha. The week was quite successful, with lots of people passing through medical and our dental team saw record numbers. Brent's family was able to join in on the fun and help out a bunch at clinic, so that was a huge help. Nice to meet you guys! Well, my family was all good sports about the whole thing and the whole time here and they had a good time here!
