For Micah's third birthday we all went to ride the Heber Creeper, a historic train in the Heber Valley. That morning Micah got to open a present. It was his own train engineer outfit and train whistle. Showing the kids how the whistle works. Micah was pretty excited to be up close to a real train! The engineer and the conductor.

On Father's Day this year the Julia and Micah drew a picture together for their dad of all the kids with Robert. Julia told me the car in the background is a police car because Micah wanted a picture of a police car on it. Then I had Julia fill out a sheet about Dad and I asked Micah the questions and wrote his answers down for them so they could give to Robert.

Monday we visited Lauren at work (and her new home! And the kids loved getting into the cab of some of the work trucks. This morning we went to the Days of '47 float preview party. This week the kids and I went on two short hikes in Little Cottonwood Canyon. When I say "hiking" with the kids it means we went to the mountains and hiked a little and played a little.
