When I first started swimming, laps were my primary reason for getting in the water. Although my swimming technique is not the best, I still receive a benefit from it. Where training and beer are your passions of choice! November 21, 2016. I have started to expand my shadow boxing abilities by utilizing basic combinations ending in a double jab. As a result, I have started working more detailed and varied footwork scenarios. For example,I use forward step on the first jab and side/diagonal step on the second jab(on the end of each combination). Going forward I will definitely be working more slow to fast paced shadow boxing with varied footwork. Where is your happiness?

Like many I have become used to parrys and other blocks with the forearms. I have come to recognize the value of just backing up a half inch. For example, I’ll throw a few jabs and if I happen to be slow on the return, I can just turn my shoulder back 1/2 an inch and turn sideways and I avoid the contact anywhere from partially to completely. My frustration comes when those who want to retire do so at the last minute, but then expect HR to hold their hands all the way through. No one wants to READ anymore. They want you to tell them what the “fine print” says so they can sign and then blame you when things go wrong. Since when is your HR representative responsible for what health plan you select?
