Brett And Steph in Canada. Thursday, 1 January 2015. Goukamma to Buffelsbaai, hidden corners of the cape Pt1. Little Nina was again getting a little warm and had to strip down. Here she is having a great nap by the Goukamma River. Here a couple of mothers are discussing how best to discipline naughty children ;-). The river was a lot of fun, very dark water and a very warm layer on top and a freezing layer below, one could modulate the amount of refreshment you needed at any time. A Walk in the park.

Marisa had her last Montreal birthday before heading off to Dauphin to start a new life in the snow-filled prairies :-).

As always Robberg is the place to go to recharge batteries, Nina is not old enough for all that recharging yet so she had to stay at home with Gran and Grandpa. We had an amazing - if rather long hike. Here you see the monster from the bogs coming out after some body surfing. Steph and I had had mainly winter holidays in Plett before we left SA, and it was nice to be back in the summer. The waves are definitely more fun! A city and a river at -20C.

Brett And Steph in Canada. Wednesday, 15 October 2014. Welcome Baby Nina Jodie Joan Farrell. So on the 15th of October we finally met little Nina when she went from life inside to life on the outside :-). She weighed 3.12 kilograms, was 50 cm long and was born at quarter to six PM at the Jewish General in Montreal. Welcome Baby Nina Jodie Joan Farrell. Stephs Birthday and Baby Shower. A city and a river at -20C. A Walk in the park. Adirondacks - Cascades and Porter. All these people made sure we left.

Brett And Steph in Canada. Tuesday, 30 December 2014. Family : Nina hanging out with the family. Little Nina had a wonderful time meeting all the family but Aunty Megan was a firm favourite. Grandpa did his fare share of spoiling as well. Nina loved the beach but was a little unsure of the sea. How lucky to have your first swim in the world here! Frances and Nina also got along like a house on fire. Here she is caring for Nina at Robyn's house. Nina learned how to suck her thumb while in SA.
