Web app for AutoBrew. AutoBrew – software in testing. AutoBrew – a machine in the making. Posted: May 4, 2012 in BrauBushka. Beer: Sail & Anchor’s The Bloke | beer bar band
https://beerbarband.wordpress.com/2014/04/16/beer-sail-anchors-the-bloke
Beer: Sail and Anchor’s The Bloke. April 16, 2014. The seasonal releases from Sail and Anchor continue to surprise. So far, the brand has released four relatively bold and definitely enjoyable beers that break the mould of market-driven products from supermarket beer brands. Sail and Anchor’s seasonal efforts are less likely to appeal to the mass market, so it seems that they haven’t been brewed to keep the corporate accountants happy, and that gains my “craft beer seal of approval”. 8220;The Bloke”.

Love and losing my Young Henry’s Cherry. June 10, 2013. A rockin’ exit to Good Beer Week. Rollicking rock and ballsy beer, what a great way to end Good Beer Week! Events are happening where beer is the common drink, whether it be at social gatherings, barbecues, sporting events or music gigs. The initial sign of Good Beer Week’s maturing came on the first weekend. Henry, Mick and The Goat. Events. However, it was on the final day of the festival, Sunday 26th May, when it reached its pinnacle. Which provi...

Beer and Bikes Victoria’s High Country Brewery Trail (Part 3: Taminick – Beechworth). April 5, 2013. 8230;previously on Beer Bar Band: Part 2). The second destination for our bikes and beer holiday would officially begin our coverage of Victoria’s High Country Brewery Trail. We parked just off the Glenrowan main street and then rode along Old Hume Highway, up Glenrowan-Boweys Road, then down Rowans/Booth Road to Taminick Cellars. It was a pleasant but windy 15km ride. Along sealed and unsealed roads.

Doors SLAMmed shut at Ruby’s. April 18, 2013. As a live music and small bar lover, sad news hit my hometown recently with the unexpected closure of Ruby’s Lounge. Ruby’s was the primary live music venue in Belgrave, as well as for the surrounding outer suburbs of Melbourne’s east and the Dandenong Ranges. It was once a true sticky-carpet rock-out institution that shared the character and spirit of the best venues from across Melbourne’s awesome live music scene. And Something For Kate. Both of who are pl...

August 30, 2013. Continuing on with the home brewing adventures. Our fourth brew was a chocolate porter using BrewSmith. With thanks to the owners of this new Aussie homebrew business, a sample BrewSmith. Kit arrived on our doorstep back in May, providing the opportunity to trial another method of home brewing the partial mash. The box included their. Those kits essentially encourage boring extract brewing using cheap ingredients, and require little more than the addition of water and yeast. BrewSmith do...

In the garden (ale). February 21, 2014. 8220;In the garden garden garden, where the tree’s grow so tall, in the garden garden garden…”. At the start of his ‘In The Garden’ Danielle Steel parody sketch, on his TV show back in 1994…. In the garden is where I should be. Instead, I’m sitting on my deck drinking beer again, looking out over my garden and up at the tall trees that surround our property. My garden is overgrown, again. Actually…it’s always overgrown, because I’m lazy. A 38% abv amber ale. Releas...
