One day he took his daughter out on the East Sea in a boat; however, the boat was capsized by a large wave, and the daughter drowned. He has lived in the same neighborhood for a very long time, and has watched it change over the years. Now it is mostly populated by the Hmong, and having been in the Korean War, Walt has his own distorted prejudices about these people. Awesome on going to yoga.
