http://sandra.1a-2j.co.uk/2009_04_01_archive.html
One Adventure - Sandra's Journey. Sunday, April 26, 2009. So sorry about making you all wait for a new blog. I’m sure you all thought that Brian was going to be going on the trip by himself! Brian has turned out to be quite good at tidying the garage, going to the tip and………. wait for it………. gardening. Something which has come a quite a surprise to me! Hope he can keep it up because I’m sure there’s more to come. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

One Adventure - Sandra's Journey: March 2009
http://sandra.1a-2j.co.uk/2009_03_01_archive.html
One Adventure - Sandra's Journey. Tuesday, March 17, 2009. Next thing on my list…. of which there are many…. was to request sabbatical leave. I’ve been really busy at work but to be honest it is difficult remaining focused. Anyway, the Principle of. Has just got back to me to agree to the sabbatical and to wish us both well. This means that one of us at least will have a job to come back too! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

One Adventure - Sandra's Journey: Finally, Fin del Mundo
http://sandra.1a-2j.co.uk/2010/01/finally-fin-del-mundo.html
One Adventure - Sandra's Journey. Saturday, January 2, 2010. Finally, Fin del Mundo. I also had a very important job as 'Llama watch'. These things are very quick and in abundance along this road and believe me fences do not keep them in the field or off the road! It was clear from the interior design that any food or drink at this place was going to be on the expensive side and, as the funds are now getting very low, we decided to have a sandwich and call it a day. Leaving and heading back north and home.

One Adventure - Sandra's Journey: December 2009
http://sandra.1a-2j.co.uk/2009_12_01_archive.html
One Adventure - Sandra's Journey. Tuesday, December 29, 2009. I just wanted to post this so I could share something about our journey on the 'luxury' vessel we were on when we went to see the Glacier. I know it's posted in retrospect and after the Christmas blog but I think it is important that I share all of the trip with you. On the second day we were out into the Pacific Ocean and boy was it rough. We ended up laying on our bunks from 2.30 in the afternoon. I couldn't eat anything of the m...Christmas...

One Adventure - Sandra's Journey: August 2009
http://sandra.1a-2j.co.uk/2009_08_01_archive.html
One Adventure - Sandra's Journey. Saturday, August 29, 2009. The following day we enjoyed yet another lovely ride. We had got everything right - no jackets, shirts to give protection from the sun. When we got to La Paz at 11am we went straight to the ferry port and obtained the permiso de importacion temporal de vehiculos needed to take the shed south on mainland Mexico. Still, as ever, she didn't let us down, started first time and away we went into the mayhem of Mazatlan. It wasn't long before we l...

One Adventure - Sandra's Journey. Saturday, February 28, 2009. Well, it’s been a while since I updated the blog but believe me, a lot has happened! Brian was making good progress with the ‘shed’ but he couldn’t do anything on it last weekend because we were waiting for some parts to be delivered. Did we have a nice, chilled and relaxed weekend off? Sunday, February 8, 2009. Wednesday, February 4, 2009. I can’t wait to speak to her. It’s all very, very exciting. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

One Adventure - Sandra's Journey: September 2009
http://sandra.1a-2j.co.uk/2009_09_01_archive.html
One Adventure - Sandra's Journey. Tuesday, September 22, 2009. I'm writing this blog from our room overlooking the Pacific Ocean preparing myself for the next border crossing into Costa Rica. I mentioned my apprehension about these crossings in my last blog. Since then they have steadily got worse until the last one into Nicaragua, which actually was quite calm and orderly. Granada is a lovely Colonial town and we enjoyed a horse drawn carriage tour around the main sites. Tuesday, September 15, 2009.

One Adventure - Sandra's Journey: May 2009
http://sandra.1a-2j.co.uk/2009_05_01_archive.html
One Adventure - Sandra's Journey. Monday, May 25, 2009. I can’t believe how close we are to leaving. Every day we seem to be doing something for the last time. On Friday we took the ‘shed’ to Heathrow – James cargo ( see our link page) - ready to be put in a crate and sent on to. For an Alaskan tour and his wife was going to meet up with him at the end and travel with him across. Sunday, May 17, 2009. However, as you can see from the picture, we did manage to get a break in the rain, and the shed was tre...
