Moberg Musings: 7 Months!
http://brianandsusanne.blogspot.com/2011/10/7-months.html
Thursday, October 27, 2011. There are so many milestones that happen between 6 and 7 months! Elliott started eating solids and has become a super confident mover! He can make his way anywhere he wants to- and quickly. I've been telling new moms the secret to getting their child to crawl: put them in a room where they're not supposed to touch anything.and they will. I've never seen anything like it! I told Brian he was like a ravenous beast. He was even making these "beast-like" sounds! Elliott and I play...
Moberg Musings: April 2011
http://brianandsusanne.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 25, 2011. Elliott's first holiday was actually fairly uneventful. No Easter egg hunts for us this year! But we did get him dressed up in a cute little outfit and made it to church. Here are a few shots from our day! PS The beautiful blue blanket was made for us by our friend Shirley! Thanks, Aunt Tabitha, Uncle Kevin, Taylor and Hailey for my handsome shirt! I can't stop laughing when I look at this picture! He has the most hilarious faces! Easter 2011 family photo. Thursday, April 21, 2011.

I couldn't have been happier than when I found out Doug was asked to stand beside our friends as they said their vows.this meant.HE HAD TO FLY TO TACOMA! Meeting Uncle Doug for the first time! Meeting Fable and Aunt Melanie! I love that everyone's smiling in this picture! Aunt and niece :).
Moberg Musings: Meet the Staff!
http://brianandsusanne.blogspot.com/2011/11/meet-staff.html
Sunday, November 13, 2011. Malcolm is the leader of this base and is originally from England. He has been serving in missions for over 18 years! Talk about perseverance and faithfulness! He is a genius when it comes to strategy and logistical details. Danny and Danae were the first two staff members we met because they picked us up from the airport! Johally, Mitch and Keira (Kiki). Estafani feeds Elliott his dinner every night :). They teach me lots of new words every day. October 20, 2011. July 20, 2011.
Moberg Musings: It Could Be a lot Worse...
http://brianandsusanne.blogspot.com/2011/11/it-could-be-lot-worse.html
Saturday, November 12, 2011. It Could Be a lot Worse. This post is not for the faint of heart. Thank you for joining me for today's episode of "It Could Be a Lot Worse.". Whenever I'm miserable, I always try to think of a way I could be more miserable, and it usually helps me take off my grumpy pants pretty quickly and move into gratitude. (As evidenced in a post I wrote over a year ago: The Journey to Mazatlan. My mosquito bites are making me miserable*. Aggravated with them) I just think to myself, "Th...
Moberg Musings: August 2011
http://brianandsusanne.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 27, 2011. So it's not a huge secret that I had a cheeseburger or two (um, every single day) of my second and third trimesters of my pregnancy with Elliott. I am convinced that's why he's so strong and healthy! You've gotta consume over 100 grams of protein daily when you're roasting a bun in your oven! So having a cheeseburger for one of my two daily lunches (or for one of my two daily dinners) was a great way to get in those grams. So welcome to Norma's Burgers, everyone! Love you, smal...
Moberg Musings: The Journey to Mazatlan
http://brianandsusanne.blogspot.com/p/journey-to-mazatlan.html
The Journey to Mazatlan. Here is my recount of the journey to Mexico, taken out of my journal from August 11, 2010:. As I kneeled over the poop-streaked toilet in the SeaTac Airport heaving and gagging and throwing up the final remains of stomach bile left inside of me, I thought, "You know, this could be a lot worse." It was about 4:15am, and that was my third throw-up of the day so far. And I'd only been awake an hour and a half. Would be a lot worse. I was not too fat for my dress! So, I had to be sewn.

http://brianandsusanne.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 25, 2011. A Very Happy Half Birthday! Our sweet baby boy is 6 months old! The joy that he brings to our lives is indescribable.we just cherish every second with our little man! One of the best parts about this last month is that Elliott is learning that he can joke around with us. He LOVES to fake laugh just to watch our responses. It's so hilarious.sometimes we just laugh back and forth together for what seems like all day! I love his sense of humor! He can sit unsupported! He loves hi...
Moberg Musings: Dreams
http://brianandsusanne.blogspot.com/2011/10/dreams.html
Friday, October 28, 2011. Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life." Proverbs 13:12. I grew up with dreams. And I am convinced, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that my dreams are from God. That He, the Author and Perfecter of my faith, planted these dreams in my heart long before I knew what the word "dream" meant, and He- and only He- is the One in charge of fulfilling them. Ever since I can remember remembering, I've always dreamed of being a teacher. Ever since I was a...

Sugar and Spice, and Everything Nice
Sunday, December 5, 2010. Grace's First Dance Recital. I KNOW, it's been forever. Since we updated our blog. Perhaps in the new year we'll get back to it, but this is the best place for us to post this video for our family to actually see. Hopefully it doesn't make you sick! Our tripod was broken and it's not easy keeping a video camera steady in one hand and trying to keep hold of a squirmy Kate at the same time. My favorite dance is the first one to. Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Ashers 19 month check up and 20 months old tomorrow. Oh my this boy! I adore him beyond words! I wish I kept up with journaling but life is just crazy! Asher can pretty much get away with anything! He is so cute I can not handle it half the time! The throwing his food across the room when he is done eating maybe one of my biggest issues with him:) HA HA! Brian cracks up that Asher has me wrapped around his finger! Last month at his 19 month check up he weighed in at 26.6 pounds!

Their story begins early on the extremely overcast afternoon of Saturday, September 8th 2013, better known as Suzanne’s birthday. After a stop at the New Providence Dinner to fuel up, Suzanne was informed that the plan was to press their luck with the weather and go for a “special birthday hike” at their favorite hiking spot. Suzanne was beckoned to the far side of a ridge by Brian when she reached the crest. She took her time finding him, assuming he had discovered another frog or brightly colored w...

Brian and Suzanne Smith [dot] com. Today we had a super awesome morning…. We had a great breakfast at iHop then a surprinsingly great walk at Seashore State Park. We parked on 64th Street and walked into the park. Then we wrestled bears, snakes and one large gator. OK, the gator part was made up. After getting him, Brian made some margis and guaca… I wonder what else is in store for us today? This is me chillin with Uncle Steven. Have a great day! 2018 - Brian and Suzanne Smith [dot] com.

The Earleys
Tuesday, March 3, 2015. This weekend was a lot of fun. Sunday we built a snowman (who we dubbed "King George") while the children were napping. I've spent most of the snowy weather with a cold so it was really fun to go outside and play. I was rather pleased with his mustache and debonair. Isaac just smiled and stared at him for a while in awe. Action shot of Brian doing an excellent shovelling job (see the snow in midair in front of the lamppost? March is off to a great start :).
