Yes, advertising is about the big idea. But sometimes you’re stuck with a photo of towels and have to stick a headline on it. With that in mind, here are some of my headlines including one for towels. This billboard campaign ran nationally across Canada. (Except for the second one. Client approved it, but standards killed it because they deemed it historically inaccurate.). These billboards ran nationally across Canada. Yes, even the third execution.

Subway: "Sub Holder" - Brian Murray: The Website

When the City of Toronto threatened to ban all plastic bags, we came up with this alternative design for carrying around your sub. Plus, unlike when you carry your sub around in a plastic bag, all your toppings don't slide to one end. I heard that they are actually going to make this, which would be pretty cool.

Recognized by ADCC, CMA, Applied Arts. Here's a sample of the many radio spots I have created. Enjoy. I haven't kept results for all these campaigns. However, I do know that a typical Subway promotion results in a 4% increase in sales; the Sub of the Day campaign increased sales by 10%. Subway had me write 14 of them and they ran for over 3 years. People all seemed to love them; except this guy (read all the comments below too) .

Kickstopper.ca is an online platform where grassroots charities can crowd source donations to try to stop things that need stopping. So far the campaign has been covered by Creativity.
