Studying the law, one day at a time…. June 27, 2011. Tonight I’m making some chili, because we haven’t had any in forever. I really do love food, as anyone who has seen me might imagine. I’m working on developing a good pizza recipe, I’m experimenting with my burger recipe (again! And I have designs on adding some new items to the repertoire, namely a good pasta sauce and potentially some advanced stuff, like homebrewing, making my own ground beef and bacon curing. Sic transit gloria mundi. Thursday, March 1, 2012. Tomorrow we have a pretty severe weather alert for possible tornadic activity. My sister and I were part of the April 27, 2011 tornado-spree. Our house got hit. It stayed standing, but it needed a lot of repairs afterward. But we were luckily and emerged only minorly injured, and the house was fixable. A lot of other folks lost everything. I hear that rumbling death-train coming 'round. And i pray that my body won't be found. The Om Nom Mama.

And then Ill have a little over 3 months of idle time, in which I can actually focus on my writing and music and other art. In other words, there should be some more posts to this blog.
