His knotted black hair, the oily filth of his clothing, the bulbous tumors hanging from the side of his face. And the stench. I walked...

Hopkins for the Umpteenth Time–a recap. July 24, 2015. October 15, 2015. Katya is having surgery in early September, so before our house is deluged with relatives who *all* picked this August as their time to visit, and before we swing full on into packing and and pre-ops, I thought I’d catch up on our last trip to Hopkins. Katya and Daddy with their truck stop tea and coffee, respectively. Katya was so happy to get tea! Katya eating breakfast at The Children’s House. Then of course, there was Dr. A,...

Sewing For Your Girls, by Yoshiko Tsukiori: Pattern Review | Wares By Cherry
https://waresbycherry.wordpress.com/2015/08/11/sewing-for-your-girls-by-yoshiko-tsukiori-pattern-review
Sewing For Your Girls, by Yoshiko Tsukiori: Pattern Review. August 11, 2015. August 11, 2015. Tuttle publishing very kindly asked me to review “Sewing for Your Girls”. By Yoshiko Tsukiori. They sent me the book, but I was not paid for this review, and all opinions expressed herein are my own. I used the second smallest size–Katya wears an old 9 or a new 10 in Gymboree– and it fits well, with extra ease. The Author designed the garments to be worn for several years. The instructions were easy to follow.
