Fresh air, outdoors, a life so free,. An early morning start. Green pastures, livestock, an old oak tree,. Farming from the heart. There is always plenty to do on a farm and ours is no exception. The seasonal jobs come around without fail, with lambing starting at the beginning of each year. The sheep keep us busy with general husbandry and of course shearing before the weather gets too hot. The Summer months see us cutting, baling and carrying hay bales, with a second crop producing large bales of silage.

Bryn Bachau Farmhouse provides ample accommodation for 9 people. The living area downstairs consists of a fully equipped kitchen with a large farmhouse kitchen table. The lounge has a wall mounted wide screen TV and we have provided a few DVDs, videos and games for entertainment on those wet, rainy days. Still on the ground floor there is a double bedroom with adjoining toilet and shower room. This bathroom can also be accessed as a downstairs toilet during the day.

The main aspect of the farm is breeding sheep. For visitors staying with us during the spring there may be the unique opportunity of seeing lambs being born or bottle feeding orphaned lambs. At present we have a small group of ostriches. Their inquisitive nature and primitive looks make them truly fascinating creatures. Good old Bert is our 10 year old Welsh cob riding horse. His dependable nature has enabled our children to progress with their riding abilities and provides hours of horsey fun!
