TRAVELS WITH THE BLUES. Saturday, May 16, 2015. Friday night saw the introduction of Roddy Collins as the Blues' new manager who was appointed during last week to take over the reins from Tommy Griffin. The guys at Travel With The Blues. Would like to wish him the very best of luck as he takes over the reins from one of the most popular men around the RSC. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). TRAVELS WITH THE BLUES: May 2014
http://bluestid.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
TRAVELS WITH THE BLUES. Monday, May 26, 2014. Winter Clouds over the RSC. What a difference a week makes. Wexford - beautiful sunny weather, the summer on the way, a convincing performance, an indisputable victory, three points in the bag and the top half of the table. Longford - miserably cold night (for May), winter returning, a stuttering performance, a "they-just-shaded-it" defeat, zero points and back to third from bottom. Late Effort Foiled by Keeper. Probably offside but the clip does not prove it!

TRAVELS WITH THE BLUES: March 2015
http://bluestid.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
TRAVELS WITH THE BLUES. Sunday, March 29, 2015. The first really disappointing result (and performance) of the season as our first visit to Cabinteely ended in defeat. We were the better team in the first half; Cabinteely were better in the second half; we didn't take our chances and they took one. Hence result 1-0. Probably fair. To keep us in the mix we need to get back on track with the next two league games - both at home, to Shels and Cobh. Come on the Blues. Labels: Blues Supporters Club. New venue...

TRAVELS WITH THE BLUES: April 2015
http://bluestid.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
TRAVELS WITH THE BLUES. Monday, April 27, 2015. With just three competitive wins in the last twelve months, the hardy few that follow the team around the country deserve a pat on the back for their commitment and patience. Well done team! Anthony McAlavey very nearly finds the target with this late free kick last Friday night. The Spirit that's Needed. It Could Have Been Worse. Athlone could easily have doubled their score late in the game last Friday night but the crossbar rescued the Blues. Eight games...

TRAVELS WITH THE BLUES: June 2014
http://bluestid.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
TRAVELS WITH THE BLUES. Tuesday, June 10, 2014. Concentrating on the League? We had enough chances to win this comfortably but our standard of finishing on the night was extremely poor. Several players shoulder the blame for this and while the Shels keeper made a few useful saves, none were breath-taking - the reality was that we made it too easy for him. Would we have done better if Willie-John was fit? Conor Whittle crosses, Drukie heads on but Cogs' finishing lets him down. Monday, June 9, 2014. Jack ...

TRAVELS WITH THE BLUES: October 2014
http://bluestid.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
TRAVELS WITH THE BLUES. Wednesday, October 22, 2014. And so the long wait begins again. In prior years this would normally be the simple but defined close season – that horrible period when initially there are no games and boredom sets in; to be followed by transfer rumours and realities and then the pre-season friendlies – meaningless and dire to watch but nevertheless crucial in the build-up to the new season. But this year, for everyone associated with the Blues the long wait means something more.
