So if you're at the market and thinking about trying to make something with those orange flowers they sell at the produce stands, try it. They are yummy!

The Life of an Army Wife Abroad: April 2012
http://armywifeabroad.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
The Life of an Army Wife Abroad. Sunday, April 1, 2012. Tiramisu is usually made by soaking the lady finger cookies in coffee, but this recipe uses pineapple juice instead, it's sooo good. I learned it at a cooking class through the arts and crafts center on base, I highly recommend signing up for fun classes like this! First of all you need to keep in mind that this needs to be done at least 12 hrs in advance. It has to sit for the flavor to be at it's best. First step, make the marscapone cream. 11 Mor...

The Life of an Army Wife Abroad: June 2011
http://armywifeabroad.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
The Life of an Army Wife Abroad. Thursday, June 23, 2011. Rome, Vatican city and Saint Peter's Basilica. Where does one even start when talking about Rome? There is sooooo much to take in, it's overwhelming and completely exhausting. I am going to do several posts about Rome, I don't want to overwhelm anyone with the world's longest post. The body that Adam in Michelangelo's "Creation of Adam" in the Sistine chapel (no pictures allowed) is based off of. So much beautiful artwork. Tuesday, June 21, 2011.

Our Life With the Littles: I'm just going to say it.
http://youmeandbabycakes.blogspot.com/2014/06/im-just-going-to-say-it.html
Me, the Mama. Thursday, June 5. I'm just going to say it. Having four kids is hard. Being a mom is hard. I'm not saying that it's harder than anything else out there. I just need to say it. Mostly too myself. Keep it all together. To keep the house picked up. To stay ahead of the laundry. To prepare good, healthy meals. To feed my kids something they will eat. To keep up with the dishes. To spend quality time with each kid. To encourage and not always be criticizing. I know I'm not alone. I know He loves...

Me, the Mama. Thursday, February 20. L is for Leaf. Last week was our third week of Kindergarten and it was a tricky one. We took the week before off because the weather was ridiculously freezing, -19 degrees one day! So we didn't do much but try to stay warm. Not the same, but we found leaves! Next, she puts the day on her '100 Chart' while we keep track of the days we have done school. When we get to 100 we are going to have a celebration! Pictures from our trip to the nursery:.
