Steve Fisher: April 2011
http://fishersteve.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Life has been upgraded on numerous fronts! I am now an automobile owner again after being a carless hobo since September. I don't just own any automobile though, behold my 1986 VW Vanagon! I'm pretty stoked about this purchase. This isn't just an upgrade from no car to car. This is a lifestyle upgrade. This machine can take you and your stuff places in style! Wait I haven't directly written about bike racing yet in this blog entry. So ya, I went to the Cherry Blossom Classic ...

Steve Fisher: March 2011
http://fishersteve.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 21, 2011. March Bike Racing - All in the Rain - No Matter the Latitude. Well first off, I raced bikes in March for the first time in a few years. Then I won the first three that I did! I did some mild conquering, but the Craneimal. Still bested me by a couple points. I did manage to capture a pretty interesting scene from the collegiate weekend below:. After today's mellow ride Ian, Kennett and I went on an epic hike through the jungle. Kennett found a rather strange plant.

Steve Fisher: February 2011
http://fishersteve.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 28, 2011. The Off Season and Beyond! Well it's been awhile. So a good number of things have happened. After getting home from Europe I settled back into Bellingham and tried to get back in the school gear. So that is what I spent most of my month or so long off season doing. It was only interrupted by a week long visit from my cyclocross season traveling buddy Adam. Posted by Steve Fisher. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Off Season and Beyond! View my complete profile.

Steve Fisher: Tour de Namur Stages 4 & 5
http://fishersteve.blogspot.com/2012/08/tour-de-namur-stages-4-5.html
Friday, August 10, 2012. Tour de Namur Stages 4 and 5. The elevation profile of this stage made it look pretty burly, especially in the final 50k. I was hoping the final climbs would force a selection and that a very small group would finish together. For a nice change the breakaway went within the first 30min of the race. The race leader’s team began riding tempo at the front and things seemed to be in order. It wasn’t to be without any excitement though…. The race was single file for the next 30k.

Steve Fisher: August 2012
http://fishersteve.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 24, 2012. The End of the Beginning. I've been thinking a lot especially over the past two weeks about all of the success I've had this summer. As a good friend and supporter wrote to me, "You're living the dream with your eyes wide open." I really have been living my dreams over the past several months and I'll remember these times forever. But what happens after you live those dreams? For more regular updates if you are so inclined. Posted by Steve Fisher. Saturday, August 18, 2012. Life ...

Craneimal: Hello! I did another speech
http://craneimal.blogspot.com/2015/04/hey-all-i-did-another-speech.html
Monday, April 27, 2015. I did another speech. I'll get to talking about the whole recovery from brain surgery thing in my next post. We'll keep things interesting by switching topics completely for just a second so that this sentence is the only one that mentions my. medical related. situation as of recent. Here's a quick sampler of the speech! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Using the bike and this space to recover from a Traumatic Brain Injury and to represent LoveYourBrain. Craneimal: January 2015
http://craneimal.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 6, 2015. I missed out on a pretty big writing opportunity at the end of my last post. Let's just pretend this is some crazy time warp thing and somehow the tattoo post has been connected and finished here. Deal. The tattoo was a well thought out commitment inspired by a dream, and the better ending to that post is that I am just trying to make my dreams come true. See ya, soapbox. Has any other cyclist ever gone 5 months without a burrito? Let's talk about bikes now, because bikes are ra...

Craneimal: September 2014
http://craneimal.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 19, 2014. Enjoy The Little Things. Whether that is drinking a latte out of a mug, or riding your bike, make sure that you do it with full excitement. You’re incredibly lucky! To all my friends, as you may have heard I was involved in a pretty heavy crash at the USA Pro Challenge. If you just follow me on the blog and not on Twitter (? The thing that has been especially tough for me however is that the brain heals at its own rate. There is no seeing your brain heal! Today, I even stood o...

Craneimal: June 2015
http://craneimal.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 1, 2015. This has been an embarrassingly long time between posts, especially with the whole brain surgery thing constantly looming. Well, to get to the lowest point on this story time totem pole, I'm still here and still have a functioning brain. Actually- I told a joke that I thought was on point and no one laughed. so let's blame my surgeon on that one. And a reason to why a lot of you read, I am back on the bike! Me all race-ready and aero and stuff with a 130mm stem. Yeah, I thought so.
