An engineer's take on life. Some of my friends and colleagues began calling me Bucky when I shared the story that my father was nicknamed the same by his friends and colleagues. I guess it’s fun to say and rolls off the tongue easily. (I don’t usually refer to myself in the third person so I don’t know). Life has a way of kicking your butt, and I realized that the events that have shaped my life were worth jotting down, making some sense of what was happening, and maybe inspiring someone along the way.

It was about the enjoyment of learning languages in this age of technology and the ease with which we all have access to them. There are podcasts for all languages now (or at least for the ones I have been interested in and subscribed to). I have subscribed to Spanish, French and Italian. So now I listen to women on my device, speaking in foreign tongues and curious accents.
